Asorphi Academy Higher Secondary School was established, under Asorphi Society, in the year 2018 by a group of young energetic minds with the aim to established, manage, maintain and run educational, vocational and technical education for the benefit of the rural student community that had been neglected for years.  Asorphi Academy is more than just a school—it is a nurturing ground where young minds are shaped, talents are discovered, and dreams are nurtured.Asorphi Academy Higher Secondary School is affiliated with the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) and offers programs in the Arts and Science streams. 
The journey of Asorphi Academy Higher Secondary School began in 2018 with just 25 students in the Science stream. What started as a small step of faith and commitment to education has now grown into a thriving institution with 200+ students enrolled across both Arts and Science streams. Our growth has been matched by outstanding academic achievements. In 2024, the school proudly achieved 100% results in both Arts and Science in the HSSLC Examination conducted by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE).
The Arts section, introduced in 2021, has maintained a perfect record of 100% results every year since its inception.In 2025, we celebrated another milestone when Mebalaaihun Mawiong secured 8^th Rank in the MBOSE HSSLC Examination and achieved the highest mark in Sociology across the state — an impressive 99 marks. 
Beyond academics, Asorphi Academy is vibrantly active in extracurricular and community activities, often participating in programs organized by various Government Departments. In 2022, we proudly received the First Prize – District Level Award in TOFEI of East Khasi Hills and in 2024 we continued our winning streak by securing Third Prize at the District Level. We have been continuously securing First Prize at the Block Level in the TOFEI competition. This year, our school once again shone brightly by securing First Prize Winner in the Block Level - Rally & Signature Campaign for Higher Secondary Level on World No Tobacco Day. 
We are proud to be a fast-growing institution dedicated to contributing towards the overall development of students in rural areas. Our teachers are deeply committed, working tirelessly to nurture the academic excellence, character, and potential of every learner.
